- You should top taking anti-inflammatory medications (NSAIDs) like ibuprofen, naproxen, and celebrex at least five days before your procedure. - Avoid exercise and alcohol You should avoid heavy exercise for at least 24 hours before your procedure, and you should also avoid heavy alcohol consumption for 24 hours before.
- Get enough sleep You should try to get enough sleep for at least two days before your procedure, including at least six to seven hours per night.
- Eat well On the day of your procedure, you should eat a full, nutritious low fat breakfast and stay hydrated.
